In addition
to that, Eminem took home the oft-debated “Best Rap Album” award this year, for
the late-2013 Marshall Mathers LP 2 release, beating out ScHoolboy Q,
Iggy Azalea, Wiz Khalifa and Childish Gambino–some pretty
stiff competition–for the 6th “Best Rap Album” award of his career.
Pharrell has taken home two early awards as
well, for “Best Music Video” and “Best Urban Contemporary Album” thanks to
“Happy” and GIRL respectively. In a couple of not-so-surprising
announcements, Jay Z and Beyonce‘s monumental “Drunk In Love”
collaboration is this year’s “Best R&B Song” recipient, and Eminem and Rihanna‘s
“The Monster” has earned the frequent collaborators the Grammy Award for “Best
Rap/Sung Collaboration.”
I guess all went
well hence Iggy Azalea didn’t win Best Rap Album. Gaaaawd damn!!!!! LOL
